---is offered to Moms-to-be and parents of children up to two (2) years of age.

The Healthy Families Aroostook Program...

---is offered to Moms-to-be and parents of children up to five (5) years of age that are:

• A first-time parent, even if one of the parent has children from previous relationships

• A single mother or father parenting for the first time

• A parent that has adopted a baby and is parenting for the first time

• Any parent under 22 years of age.

• Parent must join before the baby turns 3 months of age

Family Support Workers, who are professionally trained offer your family the encouragement and expertise regarding fetal and child development.  They will visit you at home, answer your questions, and help you find resources as you build your family.

Healthy Families Aroostook is a program funded in part by Maine Department of Human Services through the Aroostook Council to Prevent Child Abuse and the Maine Children's Trust.
