NHSC-approved sites are health care facilities that provide outpatient, ambulatory, primary health services in Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs), which are communities with limited access to care.
The NHSC is a Federal government program that offers financial and other support to Corps Members.

Licensed Clinical Social Worker
NHSC Loan Repayment Eligible
Accepting applications for a full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our patient-centered medical home. LCSW will work with patients in providing behavioral health counseling services located at the Madawaska Community Health Center and School-Based Health Services. The practitioner in this role will collaborate in an integrated model of care with Primary Care Providers to recognize, treat and manage behavioral health and psychosocial issues while acting as a contributing member to the Integrated Primary Care Team. A genuine interest to primarily provide high quality care to child/adolescent population, as well as all ages.
Minimum Qualifications Required: Must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with the State of Maine. The candidate must also possess strong communications skills, ability to work in primary care as part of an integrated team, ability and means to travel between service delivery sites.
